The location is where it should be- in the bush..its hard to say what we didn't like as that would suggest there's something we didn't like. Our guide, Micaela, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The whole staff is super professional, and the facilities are great. Refreshing pool for a post game dip. Comfortable rooms, and good food. A dream come true!

Safari's tour guide will do everything possible to help you find animals. They share information about animal presence and will not rush back due to a 3-hour time limit. Before coming to Kruger, we had seen some animals in Chobe and on our first day here, we collected big five, which we were quite satisfied with. But the next morning Safari collected big five at once, and the luckiest thing was to see a group of five lions, who were located on the border of their private territory. I sincerely recommend the highly cost-effective Umkumbe bush lodge, and I believe I will always remember the beautiful memories here.

Located at the Paul Kruger Gate to the Kruger National Park, Kruger Gate Hotel is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Everything was exceptional, from the beautiful property grounds to the staff who think of everything, even brining you towels once they see you go into the pool. This is a 10/10 hotel.
